A Man has been fired from Amazon.com because of his association with the network of “hacktivists” known as Anonymous, this is the man who who claimed responsibility for the leaks  that drew national attention to the Steubenville rape case.

Deric Lostutter told The Huffington Post that he began his job at a new Amazon call center in Winchester, Ky., earlier this month, but was fired after his supervisors discovered his home had been raided by the FBI in connection with the Steubenville case.

“They pulled out a list of online articles and asked for my side of the story, then escorted me off the property stating that even though i havnt [sic] been charged, i could no longer work there because it made them feel uncomfortable that i have a political affiliation with anonymous,” Lostutter told HuffPost in a text message.

lostutter was told not to come back to work after his first day on job and fired several days later and he also sent a picture of his Amazon insurance card as a verification of employment to HuffPost.

  1. He did us a service for exposing criminal behavior and raising awareness on an issue that might of otherwise been covered up. These corporations have no conviction, no morals, no sense of decency. The bottom line will always be profits no matter the cost. Despicable.

  2. he should freaking sue, Amazon has no right to decide what political affiliations are socially acceptable and which are not.

  3. From experience with the guy myself, he’s a major dick and a liar. Threatening others, false statements of violence to “prove” that he’s tough, etc. I too wouldn’t want him to work for Amazon, they have a reputation to keep and they shouldn’t become involved with people like him and ANON, not because of what they do, but because of certain people who make the group undesirable to be with and their personal aspirations and actions.

    • To be fair, the ‘reputation’ of Amazon is not that good. Not in the UK to people that do not listen to the BS anyway. They are 1 of the biggest companies in the UK that avoid paying tax because of loopholes, so in my opinion, they are a bunch of cocks that need to be forced into paying their dues.
