An interesting news coming from New York, where NYPD cops distributing flyers encouraging iPhone owners to update to iOS 7, which has new security features that might just cut down on theft.

NYPD cops distributing these flyers all over the city, we picked up a pic of that flyer from twitter:

Earlier this year, New York’s attorney general called all smartphone manufacturers to provide tools which prevent theft and facilitate device recovery.

But here is also a threat of being spied, as it is already revealed that “NSA can access user data on BlackBerry, iOS, and Android” and these all are the major brands of smartphone, which users use.

How this new security feature can secure your iPhone?

After the updation—devices running iOS7 can be remotely secured when lost—Apple ID and password must be entered before it can be wiped and used again. This new feature will make a stolen iPhone completely UNUSABLE.

Well, it’s up to you, what you think, it is securing your iPhone, as well as it can be a trick of NSA to steal your personal data, before you leave from here, leave a comment—What do you think?
